What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your data to anyone
- We do not use your drawings, part numbers or tooling in our marketing without written permission
- We do not name OEM customers or display their tooling
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party profiling cookies on this site
Who sees your data
Enquiries and drawings are seen by the engineering and sales staff handling your order. Freight carriers receive the delivery contact details needed to complete delivery. Coating partners receive the specification needed for their operation, under confidentiality terms. Hosting and email services process data on our behalf as processors.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to twenty-four months so we can answer follow-up questions. Order records, drawings and inspection data are kept for the period required by contract and tax law, and for OEM programmes potentially longer, so that the geometry you approved can be reproduced accurately. You can ask us to delete enquiry data at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased where we have no legal obligation to keep it, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Email sales@precimill.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Frequently asked questions
Do you use cookies on this site?
No advertising or profiling cookies are used. Any analytics is aggregate and cookie-less, which is why this site shows no consent banner.
Will our drawings be shared with anyone?
Only with the coating partner that physically processes your tools, and only the specification they need. We do not show your drawings or tooling to other customers, and we do not market your geometry under our own name.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email sales@precimill.com with the request. We will delete enquiry data within one month, except where contract or tax law requires us to retain order records.
Do you keep our tooling drawings after the order?
Yes, for OEM programmes, and that is deliberate: retaining the frozen revision is what allows a repeat batch to match the batch you validated. You can ask us to delete them if you end the programme.
Is our data transferred outside the EU?
Our manufacturing operation is in China, so enquiry and order data is processed there. Transfers are covered by contractual terms, and you can ask for details of the arrangement by email.
